New Year’s Eve 2013 is upon us! It’s a time of transition, hope and change for multitudes of people around the world.
It’s also a time when one can let go of the issues, problems and stresses of the past to begin anew, often by declaring a New Years resolution.
While it’s easy to make a resolution and intend to create change in your life, sticking to it is often another story entirely.
New Years Day is most certainly associated with new beginnings and hope, but New Years Eve – that’s associated with partying!
People all across the country (indeed, across the world) go out and await the countdown to midnight, signifying the official beginning of the new year. Some travel to party places such as Las Vegas, or Times Square, while others may stay at home with family and friends.
The thing is, along with all this celebration comes a spike in DUI and drug related arrests and car accidents all across the country.
For all the fun that New Years Eve signifies, many still choose to drink and drive.
