It’s the 4th of July once again, and Santa Clarita is ready to celebrate in style. Last year, during the height of the pandemic, it wasn’t safe for people to congregate in groups. But this year, thanks to the vaccine and the significantly declining rate of infection, outdoor group celebrations are once again being held in the city. Below are just a few of the celebrations going on this weekend in the SCV.

4th of July Celebration at Westfield Town Center

From 5 to 9 pm on Sunday, July 4, Westfield Town Center and The Canyon are holding a pre-fireworks concert. You and your whole family can enjoy live music, games, photo ops, beer, and of course, food before the annual fireworks display kicks off at 9:15 pm. Parking and seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Concerts in the Park

The much-loved Concerts in the Park events are back this year and kicking off July 3rd. This year’s first concert features The Petty Breakers, a T0m Petty and the Heartbreakers tribute band. The show kicks off at 7 pm Saturday, and they continue every week (except on August 7th) until August 28th.

Coca Cola July 4th Fest

If you’ve been waiting for the right time to head back to Six Flags Magic Mountain, there’s no time like now. The Coca-Cola July 4th Fest at Six Flags extends from July 2nd through the 4th and features all of the rides, games, and shows that Magic Mountain typically offers, as well as discounted tickets and a Coca-Cola photo wall.

Odds are, most folks are ready to resume their lives and get back to a sense of normality over the coming months, and there’s no better way to do it than by celebrating the 4th of July. Whatever you choose to do, remember to keep yourself and those you care for safe and healthy. If you choose to enjoy alcohol this weekend, make sure you have a safe ride home.

From us at SCV Bail Bonds to all of you, have a safe and happy 4th of July Santa Clarita!
