Bail Bond Process in Santa Barbara

The bail bond process doesn’t take very long, and it all begins with a phone call. Once you call us, we will require some general information about the inmate so that we can locate him or her within the system and verify their eligibility for bail. After that, we have you fill out the short, simple bail bond application forms and sign the indemnitor’s agreement. All of our forms are straightforward and simple, but if you have any questions, we will be more than happy to go over them with you.

Once the forms are all signed, we dispatch one of our agents to the jail and your friend or loved one will be released shortly thereafter – it’s that easy!

What’s an Indemnitor?

“Indemnitor” is another way of describing the person who signs for/takes responsibility for the bail bond. Anyone can pay for a bail bond, but the person who signs it is the one that will be held financially responsible if the defendant does not show up for court. In cases where the defendant doesn’t show up for court, the signer of the bail bond will be held responsible for paying the full amount of bail to the court. This amount can be pretty expensive, so only bail out those whom you know and trust.
