LOS ANGELES — In the latest episode of celebrity arrests and run-ins with the law, Dee Jay Daniels, the 23 year old actor and former cast member of “The Hughleys, has been charged and arrested on suspicion of murder.

Along with the murder charges he faces various other charges such as premeditated murder, assault with a deadly weapon and gang activity.

The former child star, whose real name is Dorjan Lydell Daniels, has appeared in several television shows such as, “Grace Under Fire,” “Cold Case,” “Family Matters,” and “ER.” He was arrested by the Stockton Police along with three other men in the alleged fatal stabbing of John Joseph, 26, outside of a nightclub in Stockton. The stabbing took place in August of 2011

If found guilty of these charges, Dee Jay Daniels could be facing life in prison. He’s currently being held in custody without bail at the San Joaquin County jail.
