Valencia, CA. - Photo, SCV Bail Bonds in Santa ClaritaEarly in the morning on Friday, September 19th, Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff Station deputies received a call about a man through the streets naked in Valencia’s Summit neighborhood.

Upon arriving on the scene, deputies encountered the suspect, clad only in a towel, and quickly made the arrest. The story gets a little stranger from here, as he was not booked on charges related to his alleged nudity, but for robbery.

According to reports from the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff Station deputies, the male, wearing only a towel at the time, allegedly took an item from a woman outside a home on Bellis Drive in Valencia, CA.

The woman is described as being in her 40’s or 50’s, but neither her identity, nor the item that was taken from her, have been publicly released by law enforcement officials.

Nobody was injured during the incident, and he is currently being held at Twin Towers Correctional Facility in lieu of $50,000 bail.

Details about the case are limited, though it’s known that the victim was not from the Santa Clarita neighborhood where she was robbed.
