Fair Oaks Ranch is policed by the Santa Clarita Sheriff’s Department, and defendants will be taken to their station for booking and processing into the system. It is a small station that is equipped to hold few inmates at any one time.

Because of it’s small size, booking and processing can take anywhere from 2 to 6 hours or more depending upon staffing and the individual’s situation.

When booking and processing is complete, inmates are housed at the Santa Clarita Sheriff Station for a short while until they are seen at their arraignment. If not bailed out, they may be transferred to a larger jail. When transfer occurs, men are transported by bus to the Twin Towers Facility and women to the Lynwood Jail.

If an inmate is transferred to one of the larger facilities, it will significantly increase their time in custody. If you want to get them out of jail fast, it is important to begin the bail bond application process as quickly as possible.

Beginning the Bail Process

To begin the process of obtaining a bail bond, give us a call. We will need a little information about the inmate, and it can help expedite the process by having it available beforehand. The information we need will be the correct spelling of the defendant’s name, their birth date, arrest date and the location to which they have been transferred.

If you’re not sure about all of the information, that’s okay! We are more than happy to help you locate your friend or loved one and the information required to fill out the bail application forms.
